Owner Rick Kroyer has over 30 years of experience in custom carpentry. Growing up on a farm, as well has having been employed by Al Smisek for 30 years of his career, Rick has proven his value of commitment and hard work. Al Smisek, owner of both Al Smisek Builder’s Inc. and MARK Designs Inc., taught Rick an unwavering demand for quality from both his employees and the subcontractors working on hi

s projects. Having purchased the company from Al in 2015, Rick is committed to keeping the long standing reputation of high quality craftsmanship as his number one priority. Rick, having been Al’s lead carpenter, superintendent, and eventual project manager, felt it was difficult to change the name of the reputable company. Rick eventually decided to change the name to Covenant Building and Remodeling to focus on the honest commitment to quality and detail within the company, no matter the size of the project.

This remodel completely reimagined the space with all new cabinetry, countertops, refinished hardwood floors, and a redesigned pantry layout that dramatically improved both storage and functionality.

Big transformation underway in Prior Lake. 🔨

We’ve officially started this full bathroom remodel and demo is complete. The original layout had a large built-in tub, dated tile throughout, and a closed-in shower that made the space feel dark and heavy. Now we’re down to the framing and getting ready to completely reimagine the space with a fresh new design and upgraded functionality.

What’s going in:
• Custom walk-in shower
• Heated floors for everyday comfort 🔥
• Updated flooring and premium finishes
• Modern vanity and lighting
• Improved layout and functionality
• A brighter, cleaner, more modern look overall

We just wrapped up this full kitchen remodel last fall, and it completely transformed the heart of the home.
