Grading project we finished last week in Eden Prairie!

We were asked to come in and do some final grading and spread topsoil on this new house build.

Per city requirements, we were asked to cut in a drainage swale in the front yard to direct water to the city street, as well as cut in a larger swale to collect watershed in the backyard and route it to the corner of the property and into the development’s rain garden.

Finished things off by importing over 70 cubic yards of black dirt to spread over the top, and we used a Harley rake to take the raw black dirt and break it up into an almost screened material.

Erosion control logs were put into place, and this site is ready for hydro seeding.

Newest addition to Division One Contracting LLC
We picked up this single axle dump truck in Shakopee this week!
This Chevy C70 dump truck has been purchased to help out with our dig outs, concrete removals, equipment hauling, and do some smaller volume material hauling.

This truck won’t win any best in show awards, but it doesn’t have to. The truck just has to get some work done for us, and we’re confident it still has some life left in it.

This truck will be put to work later this week hauling some black dirt, and we will have more pictures to come!

From us at Division One Contracting LLC, we wish you have a happy 4th of July!

Have some fun.
Make sure to remember what you’re celebrating.
Make sure to remember what makes this country great, and what people sacrificed for that greatness.

All of our trucks are decaled with American Flags. We display the flag proudly. There’s a lot of sacrifice associated with that flag. A lot of men and women gave some, and some gave all for that flag. Let us remember the heroes who fought blood, sweat, and tears to make this country great.

Work will continue for us after the 4th.
Today, the focus is spending time with family and friends, creating memories, and being grateful for this country and our freedom.

Remember.
Freedom isn’t free.

Be safe, and have a great 4th of July!
