Part #2 of the complete gut due to a scary fire!

We were able to make some layout changes to make it work better for them and provide the storage and give lots of counter space! I think the end result is beautiful! Thank you to Margaret at Lensing and Amanda at Greer’s for all your help!

(And a note from me, Robin. This job of mine can be very stressful, I feel like I hold the future happiness of a lot of customers in my hands and it’s all a lot of $$$!, but this makes it so worth it!)

This is going to be 2 posts! I don’t want the awesome after to get lost in the scary fire pics. But I do want to highlight the silver lining!

Most of our jobs start out with a customer that has spent months or even years dreaming of their kitchen remodel…not this one! While I think there had been some ideas kicking around on what they wished was different there wasn’t a firm “plan”.

Then LIFE kicked in, they woke up to a smoke filled kitchen. A fire had started (completely unrelated to the kitchen) and it had to be completely gutted. Nothing like waking up to a fresh start! (No one was hurt Thank God)

Following is some before pictures the homeowner had, I didn’t get involved until it looked like the “after fire” pics…and then the beautiful after. Please see Part #2!

One of the realities of being contractors is our houses are seldom finished before we move 🤷🏻‍♀️. We moved into this house one room at a time (at one point we slept in the pole barn and used the kitchen in the house waiting on our bathroom to get done). When we got tired we stopped and we just stuck a freestanding metal shelf in the pantry and decided to deal with it later.

5 years later, it had become a hodge lodge of “make it work” and was just a mess and hard to find anything. Sunday morning I was trying to straighten it up and Austin was here…..well, anyone that knows him knows it was in my best interest to get out of the way and before I knew it the pantry was empty and Kenny and I were buying shelves.

By the end of the day Kenny and Austin had hung shelves and loaded the panty back up. It’s amazing how something like that can make your life easier on a daily basis but you will live with it for years! We still have some holes to fill and painting to touch up but I couldn’t be happier! Thank you both! 🥰

Installer wanted!

Please share and tag anyone you think would be a good fit!

We are a small family owned company and we are considering adding to the installation team. If you follow us you know we do primarily tile, bathrooms, kitchens and flooring and our reputation is everything.

If we add an installer they would need a strong work ethic, interest in doing the job right and maintaining customer satisfaction as top priorities.

Experience needed and the desire to learn to lay tile, floors and other interior remodeling as necessary. Electrical knowledge and experience a huge plus.

Most jobs are a 2-3 man crew but we need someone that can be #2 man or alone if necessary. Generally we work indoors M-F 7:30-4:30 but times vary depending on the job.

We seriously do so many beautiful bathrooms. What other room do you spend time in every day?! This was new construction so no before pics. The final product is beautiful and the homeowners use and appreciate it every day after years of thinking about what they wanted. 😊

I have SO many awesome projects to share. I will try to do better! Starting with this awesome up do from a builder tub/shower to a GLAM walk in shower!
