Winter times are coming fast

~First Accumulating Snowfall~

I released a personal forecast a week ago on the amount of accumulating snow now through the last snow. This graphic is when you are expecting your first accumulating snow. A dusting of snow will count toward this forecast, but first flakes without accumulation won't. There are signs of a favorable pattern for the first snowfall across the Upper Midwest in just a few weeks. Further south you go, the first snowfall will be later, but expected to be slightly before average or on average given the filtering cold continuing through the rest of fall.
