On today’s make ya think Thursday! Not all contractors are irrigators. Sometimes you don’t have a choice to choose but a consultation from someone in the industry never hurts.

This client had a pole barn burn down and their system wasn’t functioning correctly. Each head that was put in was leaking where the riser meets the fitting. The only picture worth showing is how the contractor decided to make an end out to finish a zone. Yes that is a 3/4 hitch pin on the end of the line…

Wonder Why Wednesday?!

Is your irrigation system working improperly and can’t figure why?! In some cases it could be underground and you do not know it’s even there!

In these pictures, we had a client that had areas of their lawn drying up and saying it’s not watering. We have the tools to help with that.

We use an Armada Pro 900 to help us locate underground valve boxes that usually end up covered over years of thatch that turns into lawn. Sure beats poking around with a stick hoping you find them!

We had an extra fun co-worker in tow with us the other day for an irrigation install.. 😂 leave it to her to make a fun video while on the clock! 😂 she did a fantastic job lending a hand.. and a sweet reel! 😂❤️😍

Switching it up! ..Wonder Why Wednesday?! 😂😉…

Have you ever wondered why we have to charge more for rough “lawns” vs nice lush (and level!) lawns? Here ya go… Toro vs gopher mound! 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

Rough terrain is so hard on our equipment… and our operator! 😂

🌸 WHAT’S BLOOMING WEDNESDAY 🌸

This week is a little different- instead of spotlighting some blooming flowers, we wanted to share some of our “Blooming” monarchs!

As many of you know, we provide a a wide variety of lawn care services including mowing and herbicide treatments. We have a handful of properties that we intentionally leave milkweed at, but we also have a few who ask that everything be cut down or sprayed. While this is a part of our business, it does weigh heavy on our hearts when it comes to all of the insects and birds who do rely on overgrowth, “weeds” and native vegetation.

We are doing our best at saving as many monarch caterpillars from these properties (and our own!) in somewhat of an attempt to “make up” for the harm our business sometimes is asked to provide. Here’s a super cool video we captured yesterday from our monarch enclosure- this video is originally just over 15mins long, so to spare everyone we’ve sped it up to less than 2 mins. Enjoy! So neat! 🧡💚

Just like this caterpillar transforms into a beautiful butterfly, here at Elevate we can proudly assist you in transforming your lawns and gardens into something just as stunning!
