This porch is going to completely transform the front of this home when it’s finished.

We built the entire porch from the ground up and made sure everything flowed with the house like it had always been there. Matching the siding and shingles was a huge part of that because we didn’t want this to feel like an “add on.” We wanted it to look seamless, clean, and custom from every angle.

The stamped concrete is really going to make this project stand out though. It adds so much texture and character compared to regular concrete, it gives the whole porch such a rich, high end look. Pair that with the cedar pillars and it completely changes the feel of the space. The warmth from the cedar against the concrete is honestly one of my favorite parts of this build.

These are the kinds of projects we love because it’s not just about building a porch. It’s about creating a space that feels like it truly belongs with the home and gives the homeowners something they’ll enjoy every single day.

We’ll be pouring the steps and sidewalk soon, and once the entire project is complete I’ll be posting a full video of the process from start to finish. This one is going to be a beauty. 👀

We had someone reach out not too long ago about a small project.

Nothing crazy, just one thing they wanted to get done.

Skilled Construction Finisher

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drywall taping and mudding, interior/exterior painting, and detailed finishing work for bathroom remodels, as well as concrete finishing skills. You will be responsible for taking projects from the rough-in stage to a flawless, finished, high-quality state.

Key Responsibilities
•Drywall Finishing: Tape, mud, and sand drywall joints and corners to achieve a seamless, smooth finish (smoothwall or textured). Repair, patch, and blend damaged drywall surfaces.
•Painting & Surface Prep: Prepare surfaces for painting (sanding, priming, caulking). Apply paint, stains, or coatings to walls, ceilings, and trim using rollers, brushes, or sprayers.
•Bathroom Remodeling: Install, tile, and finish bathroom surfaces. This includes waterproofing, setting tile, installing fixtures, and finishing drywall/painting in wet areas.
•Concrete Finishing: Pour, level, smooth, and finish concrete surfaces, including floors, walkways, or small slabs. Use hand-held tools, floats, trowels, and screeds to create precise finishes (broom, smooth, or stamped).
•General Finishing: Perform minor carpentry tasks, trim installation, and other final detail work to complete renovations.
•Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, disposing of debris and ensuring tools are safely stored.
•Quality Control: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets high-quality industry standards and specifications.

Requirements and Qualifications
•Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in construction finishing, specifically with a proven track record in drywall, painting, and concrete.
•Skills: Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Ability to read blueprints and layout plans. Proficiency in operating power tools and finishing equipment (sanders, sprayers, power trowels).
•Physical Demands: Physically fit, capable of lifting 50+ lbs, standing for long periods, bending, kneeling, and working on scaffolding/ladders.
•Other: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
