Hockey season is back!! 🏒

Which means we have a pretty good excuse to throw it back to one of our favorite recent projects.

Intermark had the opportunity to provide the miscellaneous steel for the new Smith Entertainment Group offices supporting the Utah Mammoth organization in Sandy.

There’s something especially cool about working on a project, watching it come together piece by piece, and then seeing it come to life when the season starts.

Now the skates are back on, the puck is dropping, and the Mammoth are back on the ice.

We’ll be cheering them on this season with a little extra pride knowing our team helped build part of the place supporting theirs.

📣Here’s to another season. LET'S GO MAMMOTH!

👀 Check out our largest stair installation to date!

Not only that... but they are floating! (It's a thing of beauty)

We're excited to see one of our latest projects at the University of Utah nearing completion, and even more excited because it includes the largest staircase Intermark has ever fabricated and installed.

From the first drawings to the final installation, this staircase challenged our team in all the best ways. Bigger steel, bigger lifts, bigger coordination... and an even bigger sense of accomplishment watching it all come together.

What makes this project even more special is knowing what comes next.

For years to come, thousands of students will walk these stairs on their way to class, meet friends between lectures, celebrate graduation, and build memories they'll carry long after they leave campus.

It's a reminder that the work we do is about more than steel. It's about creating spaces where life happens.

We're proud to have played a small part in a place that will serve generations of University of Utah students, and we're grateful to our incredible team who made this milestone project possible.

If you're planning on catching a Jazz or Mammoth's game this year... chances are you'll see our work.

(Lucky you!!)

Many come to the Delta Center for the game, the concert, or the event... but we came for the real event:

The American Made Steel!

Intermark completed the miscellaneous steel package for the Delta Center parking garage, helping support a space thousands of people rely on as they make their way to one of Salt Lake City’s busiest destinations.

Parking garages might not always get the spotlight, but they’re a great example of the kind of work happening behind the scenes on major projects all around us.

Next time you’re headed to the Delta Center, take a look around before you head inside. You might just spot a little Intermark along the way.

🤔 Wait...

Is our team better than yours?

Data doesn't lie.

And here is the proof:

We gathered everyone in our Salt Lake office and asked one simple question...

“What’s your favorite part about working at Intermark?”

Different people.

Same answer.

🥇 Did you hear we have Gold Medalists on our team?

Did you also hear we are proud of them?

We recently sat down with the team at SkillsUSA to talk about something that means a lot to us at Intermark: creating opportunities for the next generation of welders and fabricators.

SkillsUSA works alongside high schools and colleges to give students hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities to put their skills to the test through competitions.

And we’ve had the chance to see the impact firsthand.

Two of own, Ushotosh Shakya and Claire Pascoe, competed representing Utah State University and took home Gold at the 2026 SkillsUSA Utah Welding Fabrication competition, earning their way to the national competition!

Intermark is proud to financially support SkillsUSA and help more students get into these programs, participate in competitions, and discover just how far a career in the skilled trades can take them.

Somewhere out there is a student picking up a welder for the first time who could become an incredible fabricator, foreman, project manager, business owner, or maybe even a future member of the Intermark team.

We know how important good people are to this industry.

Investing in the next generation is one small way we can help make sure there are plenty more coming behind us.

👀 Caught us staring!

It just looks that good.

We're excited to share that our Price location is expanding with a larger shop, new office space, and an updated break room to support the incredible people who make Intermark what it is.

A bigger shop means we're equipped to take on even more complex projects. More office space gives our team room to grow.

And a new break room? No one is complaining about that upgrade!

This expansion isn't just about adding square footage. It's about investing in the people and the steel behind the projects.

We are proud to support the American Trades. We've always believed that great projects start with great people. As we've grown from a local steel fabricator into a trusted partner on projects across the country, that belief hasn't changed.

Here's to building bigger projects, creating new opportunities, and continuing to grow together.

Once again... an Intermark employee is doing awesome stuff and ending up in the news.

Sorry, not sorry, we are bragging about our team again. 😏

Our own Troy Lessar climbed behind the wheel of the Intermark car, headed into the demo derby, and apparently decided showing up wasn’t enough...

HE WON THE WHOLE THING.

We spend a lot of time talking about building things around here. Every once in a while, it’s fun to see how well we can tear them up too.

Huge congratulations to Troy on bringing home the win and representing Team Intermark in a way we definitely won’t forget anytime soon.

⛳ Three years running!

🏌‍♂️ (And swinging)

On July 31, Intermark was back at the USFA Golf Tournament as a hole sponsor for the third year in a row.

We always enjoy getting out of the office, spending time with others in the industry, and supporting Utah’s steel fabrication community.

A little sunshine and a day on the golf course certainly doesn’t hurt either.

And because no Intermark outing is complete without a good story...

Our owner, Matt Bl**er, accidentally signed himself up for the women’s driving competition.

Did he back out?

Absolutely not.

Did he place 4th?

Also yes.

We’ll be hearing about that one for a while. Nothing like a little competition to keep things fun.

( Give him a hard time if you talk to him 😉 )

Another great year supporting USFA, connecting with our industry friends, and having a little fun along the way. We’re already looking forward to year four!

☀️ Summer Bash, Intermark style.

One of our favorite annual traditions is getting the crew together for a little summer fun in Price UT.

This year had all the essentials:
🍕 pizza
🤸 bouncy houses
🌊 wave pool
☀️ sunshine

🕶️ And plenty of time to kick back and enjoy each other's company.

We work hard together all year long, so there's something pretty special about seeing everyone outside of work having a blast, and the team getting a chance to simply relax and have some fun.

A company is built by its people, but there's a whole lot of support behind those people too. We're grateful for the employees and families who make Intermark what it is.

Another Summer Bash in the books, and a lot of good memories along with it.

The helmets are coming out of storage.

The cleats are getting laced up.

Teams are back on the practice field, fans are counting down the days until kickoff, and before long, stadiums across the country will be filled with the sounds of marching bands, roaring crowds, and Friday night lights.

Can you believe it's almost football season?

Our team had the opportunity to help with the new ASU stadium! We provided the miscellaneous steel for the project. It's a project we will never forget.

There's something special about knowing that every season, thousands of fans will fill those stands, families will make memories together, and student-athletes will chase dreams in a place we had the privilege of helping build.

As another football season gets ready to kick off, we're grateful to have left a piece of our work in a stadium where so many unforgettable moments will continue to unfold.

Here's to another season of big plays, loud crowds, and making memories that last long after the final whistle.
