I was talking with someone the other day, and they weren't sure if we could help them because they only wanted to replace their countertops.

🙋‍♀️YES! We still sell stone countertops. You don't have to renovate your entire kitchen just to get new counters.

We even have clients who want new doors and drawers for their cabinets, tile backsplash, or a refresher on their existing cabinets.

I originally started in the stone countertop industry. And it's still a HUGE passion of mine. So, yes! If you only need stone countertops, we can help.🙂

3 things to know about locally built custom cabinets.

1. The quality with unlimited styles and colors.
Unlike manufactured boxed cabinets, you aren't limited to certain sizes, door styles and paint/stain colors. As a local cabinet builder, we are able to build our clients practically anything that they want. Our clients are not restricted to a catalog.

2. Cutting out the "middle-man".
The cabinet storefronts with showrooms, are most likely a distributor of cabinets, not the builder. Which means that cabinet store is buying manufactured or semi-custom cabinet lines, and re-selling them to the public. More than half the time, it doesn't save the homeowner money. Sometimes homeowners are spending more money, versus if they bought directly from a local cabinet builder, like us.

3. Shorter lead times.
Local shops like ours have shorter lead times. Since we are the manufacturer, our typical kitchen on the average takes 2-3 weeks for boxes to be built and ready for installation. A lot of semi-custom cabinet lead times can be anywhere from 6-10 weeks. Sometimes the higher end cabinet lines could be 12-24 weeks.

We are proud of the quality work that we provide to our clients. Cabinets are typically the biggest investment piece for your kitchen renovation. Being able to give our clients exactly what they want, for a fair price and in a reasonable timeframe, is such a rewarding blessing.

Let's talk about marble and why people are afraid of it.🤔

- Yes, it can stain.
- Yes, it can chip.
- Yes, it can have tiny holes or pits.
- Yes, it can also crack.

So what???? 😅😘

Marble is SUPPOSED to age and get a patina look over time. And it's STILL GORGEOUS when it does all those things.

Look, if you don't want a stone that ages with you, then simply don't buy it. It's okay if you don't want a stone that's higher maintenance.🙂

The good news is, most marble injuries can be repaired. A lot easier than say, repairing chipped paint on your vehicle. And there's no getting away from your car getting paint chipped, or your door dinged. And that's exactly how you should look at marble. Accepting what can happen to it, just like you know what can happen to your vehicle.

But if you just LOVE the look of marble. And you're willing to appreciate it's nature, then DO IT! It's a timeless beauty that will NEVER go out of style.

Another breathtaking, beauty that we're working on. Manakin Home Services brought us in for the kitchen and bath design on this whole house renovation. A big part of their project is raising the roof to get taller ceilings for their client.🤩
