Happy Memorial Day. Unfortunately it was just another day of work for us. Another day or two of odds and ends and we'll be ready to set the rest of the trusses. Tomorrow we install the bracket and rod for our floating floor.

How do you view the products you use when building a home? Do you see them as parts of a system that serve to help meet a specific goal or just as products?

This is something a bit new for us. We're installing blocking to create a space to recess the window blinds. That way, when they're raised, they don't block any of the window.

What another beautiful Wyoming day!! We accomplished everything were hoping for and just in time. We're expecting some high winds tonight and tomorrow.

Just a gorgeous day! As usual, this location is testing our creativity and patience. On the upside, JD from Truss came by to check in and see where we're at. They're going to have our trusses ready on Friday, which is ahead of schedule. We're not complaining!!
