The slope at the back side of this home was very steep and there was heavy erosion on the whole bank making it completely unusable. The builder had done nothing to manage the rain water, so this was the main objective. As always, Steve saw beyond the problem. He envisioned a stunning landscape using natural stone for pathways, patios, retaining walls, and steps. Clean fill dirt was brought in to create the level areas and terraces, and to raise the lower back yard with a large textured block retaining wall back-filled with dirt with a metal fence installed for safety. The plants Steve chose for this are low maintenance, with Dwarf Alberta Spruce, ferns, and other evergreens, with new sod to hold the soil. The finished project is a masterpiece!

Every client's needs and budget are different. This beautiful set of steps cut through terrace walls with unique plants selections suited this property to perfection. The spiral topiary trees pull the eye up the stairway that leads from the back yard and pool to the driveway. This customer's project also included the fence installed around the property, a lovely water feature for the pool, pool decking, additional plants and trees, and more steps leading up the other side of the house. 💚 Materials used: Tennessee Field stone for the terrace walls and water feature, Crab Orchard Brown stone for the wall caps and steps, pavers for the pool decking and caps on the water feature, trees, topiaries, sod, camellias, Encore Azaleas and more.
