It’s all in the details. 👏

Our crew at the Quinault Wellness Center has been doing some incredible finish work, including this beautiful cedar ceiling. Each board was hand-selected and thoughtfully placed to vary the grain across the clearstory, turning the installation into a true piece of craftsmanship.

Huge shoutout to Brian, Randy, Jason, Tyler, and William for the care they put into every board. Great work, team!

We’ve been lucky to have Dakota and Carter on our team over the past three months through our summer internship program. Every day they showed up eager to learn, worked incredibly hard, and looked for every opportunity to support their teams and gain hands-on experience. Their work ethic made a lasting impression, and we have no doubt they’ll be great additions to the construction industry.

A huge thank you to our project teams as well for taking the time to mentor them and create meaningful learning opportunities throughout the summer. Investing in the next generation of builders is something we’re proud to do.

Thank you, Carter and Dakota! We can’t wait to see what comes next!

As the Quinault Wellness Center project comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to recognize the incredible team members who have temporarily relocated or spent many working weeks away from their families to support our work in Aberdeen. The dedication and flexibility shown by this team, and their families, has been instrumental to the project’s success. Thank you all.

Our time in Aberdeen has also opened the door to new opportunities in neighboring communities, with exciting new projects kicking off in Forks in partnership with the Hoh Tribe and Elma with the Squaxin Island Tribe. We’re grateful for the relationships we’ve built and look forward to continuing to serve the region!

At Clark Construction, we believe strong communities are built through meaningful partnerships. That’s why we’re proud to help host this year’s Friends of the Farms Farm-to-Table Dinner & Auction on Friday, August 14, at the historic Carden Country School on Bainbridge Island.

For years, Friends of the Farms has helped protect local farmland, support local farmers, connect neighbors to healthy food, and preserve the rural character that makes Bainbridge Island so special. As the organization transitions its beloved programs to new local partners, this evening is an opportunity to celebrate all that has been accomplished, and the people who will carry this important work forward.

Last week our team had the privilege of attending the groundbreaking ceremony and blessing for the new Native Plants Facility at the Northwest Indian Treatment Center (NWITC) in Elma, Washington.

Hosted by the Squaxin Tribe, the ceremony was a meaningful celebration of the important work NWITC does to support healing and recovery for those struggling with addiction. We were honored to experience the rich culture and traditions of the Squaxin people through ceremonial dancing, drumming, and singing.

The new two-story Native Plants Facility will expand NWITC’s existing Native Plants Program, providing dedicated space for classrooms, traditional plant and medicine processing, storage, and other program activities. The facility will help preserve and share traditional knowledge by educating residents in the use of native plants for natural healing practices.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner on a project that honors culture, supports wellness, and will have a lasting impact on the community.
