Just wrapped up in Poughkeepsie. 🏠

This home had a 24-year-old roof showing its age — leaks at the chimney, a soft spot over the garage, and skylights that had more than earned their replacement. Our crew handled the full tear-off, replaced all three skylights, rebuilt the chimney with matching brick, and installed new attic ventilation including a solar-powered attic vent with humidistat and a second solar vent for additional airflow.

We also added a bathroom vent gooseneck with proper duct work and corrected the kick-out flashing at the valley corner above the garage — a small detail that makes a big difference when heavy rain hits.

Honest scope. Organized crew. Built the way a roof is supposed to be built. Another Poughkeepsie homeowner covered. ✅

Some details don’t show up until it’s too late. This Hyde Park job is exactly why every part of a roofing system matters. 🏠🛠

The previous install had trapped air inside the ice and water shield. Over time, those air pockets pushed up beneath the shingles and appeared as “snakes” and “waves” across the roofs surface.

Our crew physically peeled off the failed membrane, addressed the trapped air and moisture, and rebuilt the system from the deck up. Custom drip edge fabricated to match the home. Full tear-off. New system installed the way it’s supposed to be built.
