Here is a pretty Asian Virginsbower clematis, native to China. This species is often used in horticultural design because it's not an invasive species in the US and it's on the "moderate" scale for care and commitment. The sweet autumn clematis is especially invasive in North America. It has small white flowers that look similar to our native clematis and bloom at the same time. You can see the difference in the smooth leaves of the invasive clematis vs the toothed leaves of the native clematis.
