🚨 PHONE NUMBER SPOOFING UPDATE 🚨
We want to sincerely apologize again to anyone who has received unwanted or suspicious calls that appear to be coming from ChipperTree Service LLC.
Unfortunately, our business phone number is currently being spoofed, meaning someone is making calls and disguising their number so that our phone number appears on the caller ID. These calls are NOT coming from us.
We have reported the issue to the appropriate places and have taken the steps available to us. Unfortunately, there is only so much we can do from our end. At this point, we may simply have to ride it out and hope it stops.
If this becomes an ongoing, long-term problem, we may eventually have to consider changing our business phone number. As a small business that has worked hard to establish our number with our customers and throughout the community, that is something we truly hope we do not have to do.
⚠️ If you receive one of these calls, please contact us and report it. This is especially important if the caller asks for personal information, financial information, payment, credit card or banking information, passwords, or anything else that seems suspicious. Please do not provide them with any information.
The more information we have about what these callers are saying or requesting, the better we can document and report what is happening.
We greatly appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and kindness while we work through this frustrating situation. We are very sorry for any inconvenience or confusion this may cause.
If you receive a suspicious call showing our number, please remember that ChipperTree Service LLC is NOT making these calls.
