Did your AC struggle to keep up this summer? That might be a sign to pay attention to.

A few things worth considering:

▪️ Your system is older and has needed repeated repairs
▪️ Energy bills have been creeping up despite normal use
▪️ Your unit is nearing the end of its expected lifespan

Replacing a system is a big decision, and we believe in giving honest guidance, not pressure. If you want a genuine opinion about repair versus replace, call (484) 624-2164 or visit cornerstonehvac-26.com.

Need different temperatures in different rooms? A mini-split system might be worth a look.

Mini-splits are great for spaces that never seem to cool evenly, like bedrooms, additions, or rooms far from your main system's ductwork. They offer zoned comfort, meaning you can cool the rooms you actually use without running your whole system harder than it needs to.

Not sure if a mini-split is right for your home? Ask us. Call (484) 624-2164 or visit cornerstonehvac-26.com to learn more.

As temps rise across Southeastern PA, many homeowners start to notice their AC running longer, energy bills creeping up, and certain rooms feeling harder to cool. When that happens, it’s usually a sign that heat is entering the home faster than your system can keep up.

A few simple steps can make a big difference in comfort and efficiency:

• Block heat before it enters – Closing blinds and curtains during peak sun hours, especially on west- and south-facing windows, helps reduce solar heat gain.

• Add shade outside – Sun beating down on exterior walls and hard surfaces raises temps around your home. Trees, shade sails, or other structures on sun-facing areas can help keep things cooler.

• Also, cleaning your outside condenser with a garden hose can be helpful. Better air flow gives you better efficiency. The jet setting on your hose will help give you this better airflow and cooling.

Even small changes like these reduce strain on your cooling system during the hottest months. And if you run into any AC issues this summer, our team at Cornerstone HVAC LLC is here to help. Schedule service anytime at https://cornerstonehvac-26.com or give us a call at (484) 624-2164.

We just want to say thank you to all of our clients who refer us to friends and family!

So many of the calls we get are from neighbors telling us, “A friend gave me your name,” or “You helped my parents, and they told me to call you.”

That means a lot to us. We’re a small, local team, and you trusting us enough to send your loved ones our way is something we never take lightly.

If we’ve helped you with your heating or cooling and you’ve been happy with the experience, a simple review or kind word really does make a difference.

Think back to last summer. Did your AC actually keep up on those really hot days?

If you remember rooms that never seemed to cool down, weak airflow from some vents, or the system running for a long time without much change, those are little signs that your AC might need some attention before the heat comes back.

Spring is a great time to have things checked out, so you’re not stuck making big decisions on the first 90° day.

Allergy season in Pottstown can be rough, especially when you feel like the pollen is following you inside. Here’s one small trick that can help:

Take a look at your thermostat and try switching the fan setting from “AUTO” to “ON” during the worst allergy days. That keeps air moving through your filter more often, which can help your system catch more pollen and other stuff floating around in the air.

If you’re not sure if it’s a good fit for your setup, just ask us and we’ll walk you through it.
