We were honored to join Reading Area Community College in celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Schmidt Training and Technology Center.
The MJ Nester team had the unique opportunity to connect with Robert Herjavec, widely recognized for his role on Shark Tank ABC . It was a meaningful conversation centered around our shared appreciation for the millwright trade and the future of skilled labor.
During our discussion, we highlighted what makes MJ Nester unique—our ability to deliver turnkey solutions that integrate mechanical, electrical, and fabrication capabilities under one roof. Robert appreciated the value of this approach and how it supports efficiency, quality, and long-term growth.
He also spoke about his father’s journey immigrating to Canada from present-day Croatia, emphasizing the importance of hard work, learning a trade, and developing a deep understanding of equipment and systems—including PLCs like Allen-Bradley, which MJ Nester proudly installs.
