This is one of the coolest parts of growing Iconic.
What has made Iconic so special to me is getting to watch the people on our team grow alongside the company.
For a lot of our employees, Iconic is their first job in high school. They come in learning how to work on a crew, communicate with customers, and take responsibility for their own work. Over time, you start seeing them take more ownership, become leaders, and figure out what they want to do next.
Today, more than 30 Iconic employees are attending college. Some are pursuing completely different careers, some are heading into the Navy, and others have decided to keep building Iconic with us.
Dan Bower has grown into our COO. Jayden Herman is now our Head of Field Operations. Both have taken on major responsibility, profit sharing, and a real commitment to the future of the company.
One of the most fulfilling parts for me has been watching that progression happen. Being able to give someone their first job, then years later be a reference for their next opportunity, watch them head off to college, or see them step into leadership here is something I never really expected when we started.
Landscaping is what we do, but I think the opportunities and people that have come out of Iconic are what have made building this company so rewarding.
