Cactus Creek Custom Builders was founded by Ethan Wauters in 2023 as a custom home building and remodeling company dedicated to innovative and sustainable construction practices. Each home is built with great attention to energy efficiency and minimizing the impact on the environment while simultaneously enhancing home comfort. Ethan received a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texa
s A&M University in 2014 and has been involved in the construction industry ever since. Having worked on various high visibility projects including Kyle Field in College Station and University Hospital in San Antonio has helped hone his skills and attention to detail critical in the homebuilding industry. After working in the commercial field for some time, he then began work for a large homebuilder in the San Antonio area before launching Cactus Creek Custom Builders. Ethan and his wife Hillary (a hobbyist interior designer and RN by trade) frequently attend trade shows to keep up with the latest trends in home design and efficiency. Ethan also holds a CM-Lean credential through the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). The “Lean” process focuses on (among many other things) involving all trades from the start allowing their input in the scheduling and completion of tasks which helps to increase jobsite speed, safety and efficiency.
