As you no doubt know already from this year's special 10th anniversary commemorative stamp from the U.S. Postal Service, today, Aug. 11, is national City Hall Selfie Day. This is Liberty Lake's 4th year participating in this activity from the Engaging Local Government Leaders organization that serves as an opportunity to recognize municipal employees, celebrate our city pride, and remember how a selfie stick is supposed to work.
So, this morning, we gathered some of your Liberty Lake city staff inside the entrance of the under-construction upcoming site of Liberty Lake's new City Hall at 23129 E. Mission Ave. We noticed on ELGL's web page that one of the national photo award categories is "City Hall Selfie with the Most Famous Figure." So, we thought we'd take a stab at trying to win that one by including the guy you see in the back at the far right, Dardan Enterprises project construction superintendent at the new Liberty Lake City Hall, Tony Davis. (Our fingers are crossed that Tony will win this one for us!)
