One single slab. Massive overhang. ZERO visible support. 🪨💪

Hidden 1/2 inch steel brackets mounted into the cabinets, outer panel notched so the bracket disappears from view. No corbels, no posts. Just clean. The detail you’ll never see is the one that makes it custom. 🔧

Full reveal coming soon.

This is plastic. I promise. 🤯🏠

Showing off a really unique product we’re testing on this project. CertainTeed individual composite shingles, designed to look like real red cedar.
Here’s the wild part. We installed it right next to:
🌲 Real red cedar (fresh)
🌲 Aged red cedar (weathered)
And the composite is INCREDIBLY close to both. Like, you have to walk up and tap it to know it’s not wood.

Why we did this test:

🏠 The client wants to potentially redo the entire exterior
🏠 Before committing, they wanted to see the side by side in real conditions
🏠 Smart move on a big job. Don’t guess. Mock it up.

If you haven’t seen individual composite shingles yet, this is a serious option for anyone looking at exterior siding. You get the cedar look without the cedar maintenance.
Follow along for more product breakdowns and behind the scenes content.

“Can I see your camera roll?” 😂 Bro you don’t want to. Mine is 40,000 photos of subfloor, framing, plumbing rough ins, and finished kitchens at 11pm. 💀

When clients says why we should buy your service!

Your sliding door problem might NOT be the door. 🚪🚩
Pulled this wall open and the story is right there.

🚩 Subfloor rotted
🚩 Base plate completely rotted (I can fit my finger underneath it)
🚩 Water staining everywhere
🚩 Daylight coming through the wall
🚩 Studs above are actually fine

Here’s why this is a BIG deal. That rotted base plate is supporting the header above the door. The header is carrying the weight of the ridge. All of that load travels down through the studs and into a plate that’s basically floating on nails right now.

It’s not collapsing today. But over time? It WILL sag. And when it sags, it pinches the door. Slider stops sliding. Door stops closing right. And homeowners spend money on a new door when the real problem is the framing underneath it.

The leak could have started from an outlet pe*******on, a compromised seal, flashing failure, anything. The point is: by the time you SEE the door issue, the damage has been growing for years.
Your house is the biggest investment of your life. When you see something off, get a professional in there to take a look.

Don’t guess. Don’t hope. Ask. 💪

“What the heck is this?” 🤦🔨

Walked into a modular home and stopped dead at this one.

The beam on top? Bolted, sistered, doing its job. Textbook. ✅

The LVL underneath it? Laid completely FLAT on its side. ❌

Here’s the deal. An LVL gets its strength from its DEPTH. Standing it up vertically, it carries serious weight. Laying it flat turns a structural beam into a glorified shelf. So either:

🚩 It’s just a pack out (and someone spent real money on the wrong material)

🚩 Or it was actually meant to support load (it’s not)
What makes this even crazier, a few feet away there’s a MASSIVE vaulted ceiling framed perfectly, carrying the entire roof load. So the knowledge is clearly there. Which makes this one detail even harder to understand.

This is exactly the kind of thing that separates a tour from an inspection. Pay attention to the details. That’s where the truth lives. 🔍

Modular builders, framers, engineers, drop your take in the comments. Let’s actually talk about it. 👇

Why do we charge for consultations? 💼

Honest answer: because you’re using my time, my knowledge, and my education.
When you book a paid consultation with us, here’s what you actually get:

✅ On-site walkthrough of your space
✅ Real answers to every question on your wish list
✅ Ballpark numbers from real experience
✅ A clear breakdown of what’s feasible
✅ Red flags identified BEFORE you sign a contract
✅ Honest conversations about timeline + budget
Ever wonder why one contractor quotes $25K for a bathroom and another quotes $50K? It’s because most contractors don’t include everything in their number. A real consultation unpacks the FULL picture - no surprises, no “didn’t include that” conversations 6 weeks in.

You’re not just paying for information.

You’re paying to start building a relationship with someone who’s going to be in your home for months.

Any contractor who values their time is going to charge for it. And the homeowners who get it? They appreciate it. 🤝

Reach out today - let’s have a real conversation. 🔗
