1940s Cape Remodel ✨ Portsmouth, NH

INTERIOR RENOVATION
Whole house interior remodel of 1940s cape with all new energy efficient systems in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

REMODELED KITCHEN
Custom cabinetry color matched to the wallpaper. Oceanic Hex matte tile, quartz kitchen countertops and vanities. Custom white oak breakfast nook and table.

REMODELED BATHROOM
Shower features niche and floating bench with custom clear glass door, polished brass fixtures, blue subway tile.

Mathes Cove ✨ Durham, NH

CUSTOM BUILT PASSIVE HOUSE
We built this custom 3800sqft home in Durham, New Hampshire to certified passive house and net zero standards in collaboration with

We utilized energy efficient whole house systems, and sourced materials from the land. The ash flooring throughout the home were originally trees on the property which, due to Emerald Ash Borer, wouldn’t survive more than a few more years without deteriorating. The building exterior incorporated custom-milled white pine siding and reclaimed granite hardscaping sourced from the original property, and locally-sourced white cedar screen room and covered walkway.

The main house and bonus living space above the garage continued custom-milled ash flooring, custom cabinetry and built-ins, triple-pane German-made windows and doors, and imported Italian natural stone tile.

ENERGY EFFICIENT SYSTEMS
Home meets passive house and net zero standards. Double wall insulated structure with blown-in dense-pack cellulose, triple-pane German windows, super-insulated slab, whole house air handling system, whole house dehumidification system, heat pumps, and 400amp service with electric car charging station with back-up generator.

Breaking ground on this groundbreaking new home in durham point, nh. This home is designed and built in collaboration with Gologic using their panelized system to create an incredibly energy efficient structure that will meet Passivhaus standards. This is an international standard for air quality, energy efficiency, size of the structure and more.

This house was originally built in 1978 and had not been updated since. We are doing a full renovation, including vaulting the living and dining room and raising the ceiling in the kitchen. It will be modern style and have highly efficient insulation and systems with solar panels.
