Introducing our newest development project in Cape Neddick, Maine.
Designed around a seamless connection between architecture, landscape, and the ocean, this residence will offer our interpretation of modern coastal luxury—clean and contemporary, yet grounded in timeless natural materials.
At the heart of the home, a Japanese-inspired courtyard will create a striking 360-degree focal point, directly accessible from both the living and dining areas. This indoor-outdoor connection will allow the surrounding spaces to flow naturally while providing flexibility for everyday living and entertaining.
A rooftop terrace above the breezeway will serve as a transition to the larger, elevated rooftop deck at the rear-left portion of the residence. Together, these layered outdoor spaces will create a more private setting for entertaining and relaxing, while the upper deck captures the surrounding coastal and ocean views. The required railings are not yet shown in the current rendering.
Natural materials will play an important role throughout the design. The breezeway will be clad in Shou Sugi Ban vertical nickel-gap siding, which will also be incorporated into select interior areas to create continuity between the exterior and interior. This approach will continue along the staircase, where the exterior stone veneer will transition indoors and be highlighted with integrated backlighting.
The south elevation is still being refined, with the primary suite planned to feature floor-to-ceiling glass that captures the coastal light and surrounding landscape. Tall ceilings, expansive glazing, clean architectural lines, and a spacious ADU above the three-car garage will complete the design.
A thoughtfully composed coastal residence where natural materials, understated luxury, privacy, and indoor-outdoor living come together.
