Electrical Controls Field Service Technicians – We’re Hiring!

R.E.W. Corporation is seeking qualified Electrical Controls Field Service Technicians to join our team.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position, with the possibility of weekend and/or overtime hours. We are looking for dependable, skilled professionals with a strong electrical background and experience working with industrial controls and automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

🔧Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical circuits, sensors, actuators, control panels, and related equipment.
🔧Adjust, test, and troubleshoot PLC logic, HMI (Human Machine Interface) screens, and automation software.
🔧Perform preventive maintenance inspections, including checking wiring and calibrating instrumentation loops in accordance with applicable safety standards.
🔧Identify, troubleshoot, install, and service electrical and control components, including:
🛠️PLCs and PLC components
🛠️IEC and NEMA motor starters
🛠️Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
🛠️AC/DC switching components, including solid-state relays, limit switches, float switches, pressure switches, and related devices
🔧Perform equipment start-up and post-installation functionality testing.
🔧Complete process instrumentation setup and calibration.
🔧Accurately document completed work and maintain daily service reports.

Skills & Qualifications:
🔧Strong knowledge of electrical theory, electrical schematics, and control networks.
🔧Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and standard hand tools.
🔧Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
🔧Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
🔧PLC programming experience is preferred.
🔧High school diploma with applicable vocational training or a two-year associate degree in electrical, electronics, automation technology, or a related field.
