Stained and glazed sapele mahogany (plus, we distressed it).

We don’t get requests like this often but I really like the look. The distressing is fun (no, we don’t use chains) and can be a good workout with hand planing edges and repeated stabs with an awl to create bug holes. This raised bar top will be headed to New Hampshire later today.

It’s always fun to get to return to jobs after everything has been done. We’re normally one of the last pieces in but rarely do we get nice looking photos immediately after our install. Always nice.

End grain tops are always so cool. I don’t remember the individual piece count (or approximate count - who has time to count every row) but it has to be well over 2000.
