This was one of them.

Coastal Edge Landscaping was honored to take on a 2,500 sq. ft. athletic training turf project at Fort Eustis — and from beginning to end, this one gave our crew plenty to remember. 💪🏼🚜

🌱 𝟴.𝟱 𝗖𝗨𝗕𝗜𝗖 𝗬𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦 of crumb rubber infill
💚 𝟮,𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗦𝗤. 𝗙𝗧. of athletic training turf

From site preparation and hauling material to grading, leveling, installation and finishing — 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗪 𝗣𝗨𝗧 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞. 👏🏻💪🏼

And because every big project apparently needs a little excitement…

🐝🐝🐝 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗘𝗦! 😂🐝

LOTS of them!

But somewhere in the middle of all the work, noise, equipment and unexpected visitors came a moment that was completely different.

🦅 𝗔 𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗗 𝗘𝗔𝗚𝗟𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗗. 🇺🇸

Standing on a United States military installation, working on a project that will serve those who train there, and looking up to see our nation’s symbol of freedom flying above the jobsite was a moment we won’t soon forget.

Maybe it was simply being in the right place at the right time.

But 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲. 🦅❤️🤍💙

We are incredibly proud of our Coastal Edge crew and grateful for the opportunity to complete this project.

And most importantly…
