Progress at the Orchard Project 🌿

Our custom cabinets team was back onsite this week, quietly carrying on with the kitchen install. It's the kind of work that takes its time — each run scribed, levelled, and settled into place before the next one begins.

Basements have a way of holding more potential than people realize — and this one was no exception.

The vision was ambitious from the start: take an underutilized space and turn it into something that could truly do it all. A bedroom, bathroom, living area, home office, fireplace, and bar — not just functional, but full of personality.

The slab came out entirely, dropped eight inches for new plumbing, then polished and stained into the warm, industrial foundation the design deserved. Herringbone pine panels climbed the walls, custom steel and glass defined the workspace, and the bathroom got its own moment — deep blue tile, depth markers, and a "No Diving" sign that stopped everyone in their tracks.

Every decision had intention. Every finish told you something about the people who live there.

Proof that the most unexpected spaces can become the most loved ones in the home.

Follow Hamish through this dreamy primary suite bathroom we're building — and yes, it's every bit as luxurious as it looks. 🛁

First up — the private toilet room, completely separated from the main bathroom. Because everyone deserves a little sanctuary.

Then there's the soaking tub — positioned to look directly out into the trees. Morning light, nature views, zero stress. We'll take ten of these, please.

And that open shower? No glass, no fuss — just a sleek lineal drain and a space that feels open, airy, and completely intentional. This is what custom-built really means.

The Riverhouse Project is moving right along.⚡🏡

Every great build has its moments of refinement — and this was no exception. Our electricians are dotting the i's and crossing the t's after inspection, making sure every wire and connection is exactly where it needs to be.

Meanwhile, our siding crew took the time to carefully fur out each batt from corner to corner, and the result speaks for itself — clean, straight, and exactly right.

It's the details you almost don't notice that make all the difference. And around here, we notice every one of them. 👀✨

Orchard Project — a key finish taking shape.

Every so often, a project comes along where the potential is written all over the walls — you just have to know how to unlock it.

That was the starting point here. A main floor with real potential, a backyard full of mature trees, and plenty of light just waiting to be invited in. But the rooms felt disconnected, and the outdoors remained just that — outside.

The remodel set out to change that. The main floor opened into one continuous space — kitchen, dining, and living flowing together without interruption. Clean lines, warm wood, and a new deck off the kitchen that finally brought the backyard into the everyday.

The view had always been there. The home just needed to meet it.

Some projects stay with you — and this is one we still think about.
