Excited to share that we’ve wrapped up the underground plumbing phase for the new Visual Arts Building at the University of Southern Maine’s Gorham campus.

Huge credit to our crew for the hard work and effort getting this phase completed and keeping the project moving forward. We’re looking forward to getting back on site once the building structure is up so we can begin the plumbing and mechanical phases of the project.

We’re also excited to be part of this project working for the awesome team at Great Falls Construction and appreciate the opportunity to help bring a great addition to the USM campus to life.

Can’t wait to watch this one continue to take shape.

We wrapped up the week with safety meetings, good food, and a well-deserved BBQ for our crew. Huge thanks to the entire team for all the hard work and effort they continue to put in every day. Even the shop dog pitched in on cleanup duty! 🐾🌭🔥

Our office will be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day. We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and meaningful holiday weekend as we remember and honor those who served.

Big things happening at the former Sears location in the Lewiston Mall as the new Hannaford supermarket project officially gets rolling.

Our underground plumbing scope is now underway, and the roofing division is gearing up to begin work as well. The plumbing crew has been absolutely crushing it so far, and we’re excited to see both teams bring this project to life.

We’re also excited to be partnering on this project with the GC, our good friends at PM Construction, and want to give a special thanks to Keeley Crane Servicefor the outstanding assist with the crane work yesterday.

This is going to be a major transformation for the property and a fun, high-energy project for all of us here at W.H. Demmons. Proud of the team and looking forward to the progress ahead. 🔥🏗️

We are very proud of our team for wrapping up a major geothermal modernization project.

This was no small job—upgrading a system powered by sixteen open-loop, 1,200-foot wells. The project included installing sixteen Lakos separators to reduce sand buildup and protect equipment, along with sixteen new heat exchangers to boost efficiency and improve system performance.

Complex, large-scale work like this takes serious planning and execution—and we’re proud to bring it across the finish line.

It’s always a good day when our big kids get to play with big cranes.

Huge thanks to our friends at Cote Crane for helping us set four large rooftop units in downtown Portland today. It might be a little cold, but with blue skies and sunshine, we’ll take it.

Here are a few shots from our exciting new project: the Maine State Credit Union branch currently under construction in Belfast.

Our team is handling the full mechanical and plumbing scope. We’re proud to service many of their existing facilities, and we’re always grateful for the opportunity to help build one from the ground up.

Construction is well underway at the Cape Porpoise Bait Shed. It’s been a stretch of frigid weather, but today gave us a beautiful break, and our crews are making great progress on both the mechanical and plumbing work.

This is going to be a fantastic project when it’s completed — and without a doubt one of the best views we’ve ever had from a jobsite.

We were excited to be invited to the CMCC Trades Career Fair today at the Auburn campus. It was great meeting so many of the next generation of plumbers, HVAC techs, mechanical, and construction professionals. Based on the conversations we had, the future of the trades is in very good hands. Thanks to CMCC for having us—we appreciate the opportunity to connect!
