We at W.H. Demmons had a less-than-perfect day, but our guys pushed through the wind and rain to get our 75-ton rooftop unit safely onto the roof of the new Hannaford in Lewiston today.

A huge thank you to our partners at PM Construction and Cote Crane & Rigging for the teamwork and for helping us get it done!

Rain or shine, the work keeps moving. Great job by everyone involved! 💪🏗️

Great to see another exciting project taking shape!

Some of our W.H. Demmons team were onsite today for the initial walkthrough of the new University of Southern Maine Visual Arts Building.

A special thank you to Great Falls Construction, the Smith Family, Jenna, Ray, and everyone involved for the hospitality and the delicious BBQ lunch.

We’re excited to be part of this project and look forward to getting underway with Phase 2 of the mechanical and plumbing work. It’s always great to work alongside strong local partners and be part of projects that continue to invest in Maine’s communities.

Looking forward to seeing this one come together!

A few members of the W.H. Demmons team were pleased to attend the MEREDA Fall Conference at Hannaford Hall on the University of Southern Maine campus in Portland.

The day featured an informative and engaging economic update and outlook from Ken Entenmann, CIO and Chief Economist at NBT Bank, along with the opportunity to hear from and meet a panel of three candidates for Governor of Maine.

It was a great day of learning, conversation, and gaining perspective on Maine’s economic and business landscape—and, as always, a great opportunity to connect with old friends and make some new ones.

Thank you to MEREDA for putting together another informative and worthwhile event. We’re always glad to be part of conversations about Maine’s continued growth and future.

🦺 Safety. Training. Teamwork.

Before the long holiday weekend, our W.H. Demmons team came together at our Portland warehouse for our quarterly Safety Meeting & Training Day.

Safety is always a priority at W.H. Demmons. Our goal is simple: give our team the right training, tools and equipment to be productive, work safely, and most importantly, go home safe to their families every day.

The team got outfitted with some snazzy new safety boots, ordered new tools, and refreshed the skills and practices that keep us sharp and safe in the field.

A huge thank-you to our partners and vendors who helped make the day a success: MEMIC, Cross Insurance, Saf-Gard, F.W. Webb, Milwaukee, Grainger, DEWALT, Atlantic Hardware & Equipment, FallTech, Aflac, Cintas, and Portland Pie Company – Windham.

And a special thank-you to Casey and Todd for putting it all together!

Work smart. Work safe. Get home safe.

Our sheet metal crew has been putting in the work this week, fabricating materials for two major Southern Maine projects. Why buy it when you can make it? The plasma cutter has been running nonstop, and the shop has been busy turning raw steel into finished products. Great job, everyone—keep up the outstanding work! 💪🔧🔥

Excited to share that we’ve wrapped up the underground plumbing phase for the new Visual Arts Building at the University of Southern Maine’s Gorham campus.

Huge credit to our crew for the hard work and effort getting this phase completed and keeping the project moving forward. We’re looking forward to getting back on site once the building structure is up so we can begin the plumbing and mechanical phases of the project.

We’re also excited to be part of this project working for the awesome team at Great Falls Construction and appreciate the opportunity to help bring a great addition to the USM campus to life.

Can’t wait to watch this one continue to take shape.
