This is kind of unusual for us but we have a live music showcase here today at 5pm. Our friends Lost Lockets from Portland are starting a west coast tour to promote their new album "Love not Fear". It should prove to be a magical evening. Show is early, 5 to 6:30.

I'm reveling in my refreshed fascination with peonies. All classy and gussied up. The inspiration for a gazillion heritage textile prints that I'm almost certain to fall in love with. Or wallpaper...

I've had my eye on an Itoh stuck in a pot in the corner of the nursery. Considering the condition, It's vigor and strength is admirable. I'm anxious to see which one it turns out to be!

I'm also crossing my fingers that the Kopper Kettles I put in this spring will bloom for us! And I regret having to spell copper with a K...
