While demolishing a roll-in ADA shower with a cracked base caused by a failed mortar bed, we discovered an unexpected surprise from the Sheetrocker. They had used a longer-than-usual screw that had penetrated the pex water line in the wall. Remarkably, this screw has held up for approximately seven years and counting without causing any leaks

We’re finalizing another small bathroom remodel. We installed a shower valve with brushed nickel trim. Additionally, we replaced a cracked fl**ge that was roughed too low. The ole’ stacking wax seals trick did not solve the problem

We relish the chance to assist a neighbor in town during challenging times. Due to a leak from their washer machine replacement, they had to shut off the water supply to their house. We promptly installed a new single-lever washer machine valve along with new hammer arrestors to resolve the issue

As plumbers, we strive to use only name-brand, high-quality products. However, even reputable companies can produce defective items. We’ve encountered issues with angle stops featuring plastic stems in the past. Recently, a customer experienced a severe problem with a new valve in his second-floor bathroom while he was at work. He returned home that night to find water pouring from his second-floor bathroom all the way down into the basement. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers posed by pressurized water systems in a home and the significant liability that comes with being a plumbing company

Another day, another loose toilet. Someone previously replaced the lead bend drain and used a repair fl**ge however there was nothing left of the subfloor due to water damage. They attempted to use shims and scrap pieces of wood to build the floor back up but to no avail. We opened the ceiling below and installed a new piece of 3/4” plywood to reinforce the floor and to give our screws something to bite into when screwing down the new fl**ge. The toilet is securely fastened until they’re ready to remodel their bathroom at a later date

Water stain in a freshly painted kitchen ceiling 👎 the toilet fl**ge above was completely disintegrated from a leak stemming from a failed wax seal. We were able to drill the fl**ge out of the 3” abs 90 under the floor and glue a new street fl**ge into the 90 💪 🚽
