The Battle Line Painter

The Battle Line Painter Open for all miniature painting commissions: wargame, board game, and RPG miniatures. Message me today and let's get your miniatures painted!

My name is Travis and I started painting game miniatures when I was ten years old. My parents bought me the board game Battlemaster and my life changed forever. As a teenager I would stay up into the wee hours of the morning painting miniatures for games like Warhammer, Necromunda, and Warzone. In my twenties I worked for a comic book/game shop painting the store's display miniatures. I then worke

d in pharmacy for years while always painting in my free time, mostly my own Warhammer armies. Now I have decided to make myself available for miniature painting commissions, whether it be for tabletop wargaming (Warhammer, 40k, Crisis Protocol, Shatterpoint), monsters and characters for your RPGS (D&D, Pathfinder), or board games with lots of cool miniatures that would look even better painted!

21x more Rubric Marines! Why 21? Because 1 was missing from the first batch -- so with these added, somebody's got a full 4x10 units of awesome looking Thousand Sons ready to hold objectives and do some sort of psyker-wizardry nonsense (I assume)!

Gelgus Pust, daemonic warlord of Nurgle. This extra gross fella leads the Nurgle enemies in the new Warhammer Quest: Darkwater boxed game. As fun to paint as he is gross!

Managed to sneak in a little work on my own miniatures: Reasonable Marines. Technically, they're the Raptors chapter of Adeptus Astartes, but they are the closest in-lore equivalent of Reasonable Marines. You know, space marines that use things like tactics, camoflage, guerilla warfare, make use of cover, etc...

I'm really trying to combine new methods I've learned over the last few years to produce something unlike my usual old-timey style. Chipping/battle damage, grime, weathering, scorching, better decal application. All that plus the new matte varnish that is *truly matte*. I'm really happy with these.

Two squads of Thousand Son rubric marines. Well, mostly two fulls squads: the customer was missing one mini, so we'll call this 19/20. All that matters is that we've got all the good bits: lots of flamers, maybe too many flamers, and those delicious soulreaper cannons. Them standing on those iceworld bases, I can only imagine what ice planet they're fighting on...

The Incarnate of the Deep, a magical manifestation for the Idoneth Deepkin army from Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. Basically a magically summoned ocean elemental that will drown your opponents!

The picture was taken inside a new photo-box a friend passed on to me, not sure I've mastered using it yet, but was happy with the lighting effect it gave.
