Happy 1st Horch-Iversary, 'Kenneth'!

What a year it's been!

In just 12 short months, Ken has made a lasting impact on the Horch Roofing team. He's the kind of person who quietly gets things done, steps up wherever he's needed, and somehow always seems to have the right dad joke loaded and ready at exactly the right moment. (Whether we asked for it or not. 😄)

Dependable, hardworking, and a true jack-of-all-trades, he has become the 'Red Panda' we can count on day in and day out. He may not always be the loudest person in the room, but his actions speak volumes.

Of course, around the office these days, he's better known as KCK — Key Chain Kenny. If you've ever heard a mysterious jingling coming down the hallway, don't worry, it's just KCK arriving to do his thing.

And let's not forget his legendary Halloween transformation to live up to his new nickname. Between the mullet, the oversized shades, and fully committing to the look, KCK proved that when it's time to dress up, he doesn't do anything halfway.

Kenergy, thank you for everything you've brought to the team this past year. Your work ethic, reliability, humor, and willingness to help make a difference every single day. We're the lucky ones, and the office just wouldn't be the same without you.

Join us as we wish Tim a very happy 6th Horch-Iversary!

For six years, Tim has been an incredible part of the Horch Roofing family, always willing to jump in, lend a hand, and support any department that needs him. Whether it's helping at company events, assisting teammates, or taking on whatever challenge comes his way, Tim is the definition of a team player.

These days, Tim has taken on his most important role yet: Proud Grandpa. In fact, "Senior" Sales Estimator has taken on a whole new meaning! If you can't find Tim, there's a good chance he's showing someone baby photos, talking about his grandchild, or getting completely distracted by another adorable picture that just came through.

And let's all take a moment to celebrate another major milestone, summer is finally here! Which means we get a few glorious months without hearing how much Tim hates the cold. The snow is gone, the golf clubs are out, and balance has been restored to the universe.

Tim, thank you for six years of dedication, leadership, laughter, and unwavering commitment to our team and customers. We're lucky to have you, and we look forward to many more years of success, golf stories, drone flights, and grandkid updates.

Today, we take a moment to pause, reflect, and remember the brave men and women who gave everything for our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we’re able to enjoy the freedoms we have every day, and that’s something we never take lightly.

We also want to recognize and thank the members of our own team who have served. Your dedication, both in and out of uniform, means a great deal to all of us. ❤️

In observance of the holiday, our offices will be closed today (5/25) as we take time to honor and remember. We’ll be back and ready to go tomorrow.

Our hearts are with everyone affected by the devastating fire at Robbins Lumber in Searsmont.

We are keeping James and Alden Robbins, Lily Robbins, their families, employees, and the entire Robbins Lumber community in our thoughts as they recover from this tragic event.

We also want to honor Firefighter Andrew Cross of the Morrill Volunteer Fire Department, who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving others. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, fellow firefighters, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

Maine communities are built on people who show up for one another in difficult moments, and today we stand with all those impacted.

2 Years of Tom, can you believe it?!

Today we’re celebrating our guy Tom, 2 years of keeping things moving as Production Coordinator and keeping us all entertained along the way!

Tom is… how do we say this… often the thorn amongst the roses, but somehow, he pulls it off with that signature smile and positive attitude. No matter what’s thrown his way, he keeps showing up, keeps trying, and never backs down.

He might also hold the record for easiest person to make blush, seriously, it doesn’t take much 😂 But that just adds to the fun. Pair that with his great sense of humor, and you’ve got someone who keeps the vibes light even on the busiest days.

And we can’t forget one of the all-time moments… ordering DoorDash and somehow ending up with just a soda! An icon, honestly.

Tom, your persistence, positivity, and ability to roll with anything don’t go unnoticed. We’re lucky to have you on the team (even if we keep you on your toes).

1 Year of General Manager, Luke!

Today we’re celebrating Luke’s 1-year Horch-iversary, and what a year it’s been.

Luke is the definition of a get it done, do the right thing kind of guy. No matter what’s needed, he steps in without hesitation and handles it, no questions asked. Project Managers need backup? He’s already there. Sales needs support? He’s on it. Need him to step in front of the camera? Buttoned up and ready to go.

He brings a level of dependability that’s hard to miss, rock solid, steady, and always showing up for the team. The kind of person you know you can count on, every single time.

And outside of work, Luke takes that same energy into being a dad. Easily one of the proudest we know, and someone who would do absolutely anything for his kids!

Luke, your work ethic, attitude, and willingness to jump in wherever needed make a real impact here. We’re lucky to have you leading the way.

Kaleb might keep things a little more low-key, but he’s someone you can always count on. He shows up, puts in the work, and is always willing to jump in and help wherever he’s needed, no questions asked.

He’s got a great sense of humor that catches you off guard in the best way, and a steady, positive attitude that makes him an awesome teammate to have around.

Happy Birthday, Nate!

Where do we even start… Nate is everyone’s go-to, our right-hand man, and also the reason a few of us probably have some extra grey hairs 😂

With his wicked sense of humor and perfectly timed one-liners, there’s never a dull moment when he's around. He keeps the whole crew entertained, whether we’re ready for it or not.

He’s also got some serious loyalty, to McDonald’s 🍔 (we’re still convinced he might turn into a burger one day) and not to mention the office candy jar, which he treats like his personal stash.

Nate definitely keeps things interesting… but we wouldn’t want it any other way.

Thanks for the laughs, the energy, and being the kind of right-hand man every team needs!
