On a beautiful Friday afternoon all you need is a stack of paper, a hot grill and some (mostly friendly) competition! Today we hosted our first annual “Top Gun BBQ,” where participant’s paper planes were judged on distance, acrobatics and design. While some planes are now permanently stationed on top of offices, wooden beams and air ducts, we did have a few pilots that completed their mission. Congrats to our winners and thanks to our P+C community for showing up!

Last week, we proudly celebrated the groundbreaking of TVF&R Station 62 alongside staff, firefighters and our design partners at Hennebery Eddy Architects. This milestone marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, and we are honored to be a part of bringing this important community resource to life.

We had a great time celebrating another groundbreaking ceremony yesterday! It was an exciting morning as we joined the McMinnville Water & Light team, Mayor Kim Morris and the Yamhill County Commissioners to mark the start of a project that will renovate and expand MW&L’s current facility. To celebrate this milestone, we kicked things off by starting interior demolition and turning over the first shovels of dirt. We’re incredibly proud to be a part of this milestone and look forward to seeing the transformation come to life!

This month, P+C and our friends at Opsis Architecture were honored to receive a DJC Top Project 2026 Award for the “Oak Lodge Library & Concord Community Center” renovation!

This project transformed two aging community assets into a modern, shared destination where people can gather, connect and access essential services. Seeing the facility embraced by the community (even during the cold winter months) has been wonderful to see since the ribbon cutting in October.

We're grateful for the DJC's recognition and especially honored to receive the event's People's Choice Award, as voted on by attendees during the Top Projects celebration. Thank you to Clackamas County, Oregon, North Clackamas Parks & Recreation District, our trade partners and everyone else who supported this project from concept through completion.

Great weather and stellar attire - another annual golf tourney in the books at Sah-Hah-Lee! Congrats to our winners for best score, outfits and team name. They've got 12 months of bragging rights 'till the leaderboard resets.

Thank you to the Tualatin Valley Firefighters Union - IAFF Local 1660 for hosting another great golf tournament and for the work its members do every day to serve our communities. P+C was proud to support an event rooted in the same idea that guides our work: showing up for the people and places around us.

Congratulations to P&C’s newest graduates of the Carpenters Superintendent Career Training (SCT) program! This on-the-job instructional program prepares participants to become skilled construction industry professionals and future field leaders. We’re proud of their hard work, growth and dedication to quality construction.

The new Cannon City Police Station opened its doors last week with an open house celebration. Built to last through department growth, the new 5270 sf facility features a multifunction room, a wellness space and an interview room with audio and video recording capabilities. Chief Schultz said it best, “It fits right into the style of Cannon Beach. It’s functional, yet beautiful.” We will be posting more about it in the coming weeks – stay tuned!

On a rainy morning last week the Banks School District broke ground on the new High School Modernization project! Students, parents, staff and City leaders were all present to officially kick the project off. Scope includes safety and security improvements, seismic upgrades, system updates and the construction of a new two-story high school building to replace most of the existing learning spaces. P&C completed a similar project for the Banks School District back in 2013-14 and we’re thrilled to be back!
