If your lawn is looking thin, compacted, patchy, or tired after summer, don’t wait until spring to think about it. Once winter sets in, there’s much less we can do—so the work you put in now can make a big difference later.

Our Residential Maintenance team can evaluate your lawn, recommend the right renovation plan, and help set it up for a stronger spring.

Fall gives us a valuable window to dethatch, aerate, slice seed, fertilize, and help new grass get established so your lawn can head into winter stronger and come back thicker and greener in spring.

It all starts with an idea—and a walk-through.

Long before the first stone is placed or the first plant goes into the ground, our team is listening, asking questions, and imagining what your space could become.

From there, we bring together your vision, our designers’ expertise, and your budget to create a landscape that feels distinctly yours. And because projects can evolve along the way, our team is there to problem-solve, adapt, and guide the process from the first meeting through installation.

Seasonal Interest, Built In. 🍂
A well-designed landscape should have something to offer in every season.

Scroll through to see how our designers build year-round interest with layers of ornamental grasses, flowering shrubs, perennials, evergreens, and small trees. As fall arrives, those layers begin to shift—foliage changes color, grasses take on more texture and movement, and late-season blooms and seed heads keep the garden feeling full.

We design with multiple seasons in mind, balancing color, structure, texture, and movement so the landscape continues to evolve throughout the year.

Because the best landscapes don’t peak once—they give you something new to enjoy season after season.

Why do we love ornamental grasses in landscape design??? Because they bring something few other plants can: movement, texture, softness, and structure all at once.

Our designers use grasses to soften hardscapes, create repetition, add privacy, bring movement to planting beds, and help landscapes feel more layered and natural. Depending on the variety and how they’re planted, grasses can feel loose and meadow-like or clean and architectural, making them incredibly versatile in both modern and traditional gardens.

They also carry the landscape beautifully through the seasons, with seed heads, changing color, and winter texture that keep the garden interesting long after summer blooms fade.

This is what summer looks like in a well-planned landscape. 🌿

Flowers, foliage, and food can all belong in the same garden. Layers of summer color soften pathways, frame the home, and blend beautifully with productive spaces.

By combining plants with different heights, textures, and bloom times, the landscape stays full of interest as the season unfolds.

Some of the most memorable landscapes aren’t the ones you see all at once—they’re the ones you discover one step at a time. 🌿

A thoughtfully designed pathway slows you down, inviting you to notice the textures, changing light, seasonal blooms, and carefully framed views along the way.

On larger properties especially, paths do more than connect spaces. They create a sense of flow, turning separate outdoor rooms into one cohesive experience.

Because great landscape design isn’t just about where you’re going. It’s about how it feels to get there.

✨ Ready to create a landscape you’ll love to wander through? Let’s start the journey.

What makes a landscape feel truly extraordinary?

It’s rarely one “wow” feature. It’s the layering.
This estate was thoughtfully designed to reveal itself one experience at a time—meandering pathways, destination spaces, seasonal interest, fragrance, cutting gardens, expansive lawn, gathering areas, and quiet moments tucked around every corner.

Every element has a purpose. The homeowner is a florist, so productive cutting gardens are woven seamlessly into the ornamental landscape, creating beauty that can be enjoyed outdoors and brought indoors.

The most incredible part? Six years ago, this was an empty lot.

Great landscapes don’t happen by accident—they evolve from thoughtful planning, intentional design, and years of expert care.

We spent this morning photographing this incredible property, and this is just a little teaser. We can’t wait to share more of the details behind one of our favorite projects.

Nothing goes to waste. 🌿

Instead of ending up in the landfill, landscape debris is transformed into Oregon-made compost—creating healthier soils, stronger landscapes, and a greener future.
