For this recent Beaverton kitchen remodel, Kitchen Concepts kept the existing footprint while making much better use of the space with custom maple Shaker cabinetry, Citrine quartz countertops, a full-height tile backsplash, and smart storage solutions.

Thoughtful details include a 90-degree Super Lazy Susan for easier corner access, a deeper cabinet above the refrigerator for additional storage, and a beautiful custom hutch that carries the cabinetry into the adjoining dining area.

What can a better kitchen layout really change? Quite a lot.

For this recent Kitchen Concepts NW remodel in Gresham, we replaced an L-shaped island with a straight island to create a more spacious, comfortable flow, then added thoughtful storage throughout.

Natural maple Shaker cabinetry, Serene quartz countertops, pantry roll-outs, dedicated pot-and-pan storage, a spice drawer and other practical details all came together to create a kitchen that looks beautiful and works better every day.

Take a look at the full project, including finished-photo galleries throughout the story and the dramatic "before" photos at the end.

Most people think a kitchen remodel starts by choosing cabinets or countertops.

We see it a little differently.

Before we talk about materials or finishes, we like to understand how you use your kitchen, what frustrates you about your current space, and what you'd love to change. Those conversations often lead to ideas homeowners hadn't even considered—and ultimately to kitchens that are more functional, comfortable, and enjoyable to live in.

At Kitchen Concepts, we've learned that good design starts with listening. Because the best kitchen isn't just the one that looks beautiful—it's the one that's designed around the people who use it every day.

When people begin planning a kitchen remodel, one of the first questions they ask is: "What will give us the most value?" It's a great question—but the answer isn't always what people expect.

We have created a guide in our latest Remodeling Resources Post to help customers best answer this question:
