For a number of years, we’ve had the opportunity to stay at our Manzanita on First project over this holiday weekend. We’re heading out there again to enjoy this beautiful place, which is has been loved by many since 2017. We still feel great about all the decisions here, most of which were made over 10 years ago. It still feels of-the-place, approachable, and comfortable. More art has been added, including a beautiful Judy Cooke in the stairwell. Interiors should evolve and grow, but when the baseline stands the test of time and trend cycles, it’s a great feeling.

A treetop living room at Sockeye -> swipe to see the before. The bulky central stair, which led to a very secondary room, moved to a more discrete location, making way for a new fireplace location that could be celebrated and used often. The details and material intersections were tidied up, fresh window detailing, improved lighting, and room proportions make all the difference 📐
