Last night marked what we calculate to be Mayor Billy Vogle’s 416th and final meeting during his eight years as Robertson County Mayor. Of those 416 meetings, he missed only one.

Senator Kerry Roberts presented Mayor Vogle with Senate Joint Resolution 1102, recognizing his 20 years on the Robertson County Commission, eight years as mayor and 50 years of marriage to his wife, Cindy. As Senator Roberts explained, Mayor Vogle’s service is now part of Tennessee’s permanent historical record.

He was also honored for the way he openly shared his faith throughout his time in office. It has been a steady part of how he has led, served and treated people.

Thank you, Mayor Vogle, for showing up, serving faithfully and caring deeply for Robertson County and its people.
