McFadin Design Build

A beautiful yellow backsplash and large skylight brings the sunshine in on drab rainy days, while pairing perfectly with sentimental canary wood accents. Floor-to-ceiling pantry cabinets line the back wall, and a new arched opening ties into the homes original 1920’s character. ✨ Link in bio.

A quiet hallway moment from our Sabin ADU: full-height wardrobe cabinetry frames the approach to the master bath. Warm wood, marble, and brass do a lot of the work here. Link in Bio.

We turned an underused garage into this — a hardworking mudroom with a sky-blue glass door that's become one of our favorite details on any project. 💙

Polished tile floors, wall-mounted hooks, smart shoe storage, and a door that brings natural light in while keeping the chaos contained. It's the kind of space that makes everyday life a little smoother.

We just launched our new website and this project is now part of our online portfolio — along with several other recent builds. If you've been curious about what a design-build remodel or new build with us looks like start to finish, mcfadindb.com is the best place to start.

Swipe to see what's behind the doors. 🚪✨

The custom entry wall in this Pearl District penthouse does it all — floor-to-ceiling storage, a walnut display niche, and hidden coat closets that disappear into the design. Built for a life well-lived in Portland.

Custom casework graces every room of this ADU, beautifully concealing plenty of storage space while maintaining visual cohesion throughout. Kudos to our design team for this modern multi-generational home where no detail was forgotten.

What do you think of the view? After helping raise the ceiling in the attic on this project, we're focused on a new back deck on this sunny, green Portland day. 😎🔅🏡🌳 Click the link in our bio for more project ideas.

The custom slat work on this was challenging, but hey, we love a challenge. This was one of our favorites because of how beautiful it turned out. 😎 👷

After their contractor ghosted, a couple had to find a way to complete a home renovation and an ADU—which meant doing some of the work themselves.

Warning: An attic conversion may cause excessive happiness with a new bathroom that lets natural light pour in for an incredible shower experience! 🚿 Link in bio
