Exciting things are underway at Zone 32 Phase II

Really pumped to be a part of this project with some new industry partners and a teammate on Bogan Developments next phase of housing construction. Can't wait to share this project's progress throughout the next year!

The story of Zone 32 Phase II is getting out — and we are grateful for the coverage.

Both Second Wave Media and Crain's Grand Rapids covered last week's groundbreaking of Zone 32 Phase II, a $10.6 million project that will add 38 new workforce-affordable housing units to Kalamazoo's Northside. With studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units planned, and completion expected in fall 2027, this is a major milestone for the Northside and for Kalamazoo.

As Clarence Lloyd of the Southwest Michigan First Chamber said at the event: "This is how you rebuild a community."

Had a Ball at the YFC KZOO 54 hole challenge! Our team came in 2nd overall and Amelia won closest to the pin. Most importantly, we were able to help raise funds for this organization. Thanks to all who supported!!

It was a pleasure to attend buildHER, Custer's inaugural event created to connect, support, and celebrate women in the construction, design, and building industries.

Events like these provide valuable opportunities to build relationships, share experiences, and encourage the next generation of industry leaders. The Barton Group is proud to support initiatives that foster collaboration and help create more pathways for women to thrive in construction and related fields.

How does time go so fast?! We recently completed the 11-month warranty walk at the Dowagiac Department of Public Services, and we're happy to report the facility is still looking great and performing exactly as intended.

One of the many benefits of having an Owner's Representative is ongoing support beyond project completion. Warranty walks help identify and address any issues before warranties expire, protecting the owner's investment and ensuring long-term success.

Thank you to Schley Nelson Architects and Frederick Construction for their partnership and teamwork throughout this project!
