More of 3138 S Peninsula Dr, our “Mid Century Modern Model”.

Notice the stacked joints on the full size CMU block, and matching 4” high CMU with the house, where viewable from the road. Aesthetically aligned 👌🏽

There’s 2 homes here on the river, separate parcels, and all part of a multiphase project. Our Client and friend, brought us his vision and with our in-house designer and draftsman, we created a plan and executed.
You may notice the back of the house still needs painting. Our Client asked if he could take that on and we obliged. He wanted to have a part in this long awaited vision and journey, and we were happy to help!

We want to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to vote, comment, message us, and share feedback on our recent rebrand ideas. The amount of support, encouragement, and honest input was incredible — and it reminded us exactly why we’ve proudly served this community for over 43 years. ❤️

After much consideration, we’ve decided to stay true to our roots and stick with our original Barker Construction branding. 🔨🏡

While we loved exploring new creative directions, one thing became very clear:
The name, reputation, and trust behind the original logo already mean something to our community — and that means everything to us.

Sometimes evolution isn’t about changing who you are… it’s about continuing to build on the foundation that got you here. 💪🏽

Thank you again for being part of this journey with us. The next chapter of Barker Construction is just getting started.

📍 Daytona Beach Commercial Build-Out
