With all the rain we've had in Port Orange you'll see more activity from armadillos digging holes in your yard. The saturated soil drives insect, grubs and earthworms to the surface. This is like an armadillo's buffet. If you're seeing holes in your yard, give Florida ACM a call and we'll remove them for you.

This DIY homeowner found out momma raccoons will chew through the shingles and roof decking to get to her babies still inside the attic He had waited until the raccoon left to search for food to seal up the entry point where she got in to his attic. But, he didn't check to see that she had her babies and they were still in his attic. Momma raccoon chewed through the roof to get back inside. Sometimes a wild animal removal call turns into a rescue. We found this beautiful girl starving and weak. It looks like she took a stick to the soft part of her face between her eye, her cere and upper mandible. It had caused an infection that led to her becoming emaciated and weak. She had a hard couple of weeks until she got the help she needed. As you can see she is sleeping in with a full belly. We expect a full recovery with this owl.
