🚿 From a Problem Shower to a Properly Built Shower
This shower needed a complete redo after the original installation created some serious issues — including a curb that was too low, allowing water to escape where it shouldn’t.
We removed the problem areas and rebuilt the shower with proper attention to waterproofing, curb height, tile layout, and finish details. One of our favorite parts of this project is how the new shower tile meets the existing bathroom floor tile for a clean, cohesive transition.
We also sourced a brand-new glass shower door from Home Depot. This particular space is smaller than most standard showers, which limited what doors we could use. The three-panel glass design gives this shower a much more open feel while creating an impressive 26” opening for easier access. 🙌 With a standard shower size this door could give up to a 32” opening!
It’s a great example of why proper installation matters. Tile can look beautiful, but what’s underneath — and how everything is built — is what makes a shower last.
