That sulfur smell from your faucet isn't normal. In Southwest Florida, it's usually caused by hydrogen sulfide in the water supply or bacteria growing inside your water heater.
Quick 2 minute check:
Run the hot water only. Does it smell? If yes, your water heater likely needs flushing.
Run the cold water only. Does it smell? If yes, it's probably coming from the source water.
Wipe around the faucet and drain. Sometimes the odor is actually buildup in the fixture, not the water itself.
If the smell sticks around, don't ignore it it can damage pipes over time or signal a bigger plumbing issue.
