Barron Custom Design, LLC is an award-winning boutique architectural design firm. Projects by the firm have been featured in the HGTV Pro-Design network, Houzz, and Apartment Therapy. The goal of each project is to create beautiful, functional, and sustainable spaces that meet the needs of the specific client while blending within a community.

With an extensive background in technical knowledge, the firm has the experience to guide and assist clients through the design process. Barron Custom Design’s portfolio includes custom single-family and small-scale multi-unit residential projects, as well as working with builders, developers, and small commercial projects.

Founded in 2003, Principal Felicia B. Foster started BCD after many years working in the industry in various aspects, from design to land development to construction. The company was based in Austin, TX, but relocated the office to Port Aransas in 2020. Although the firm is based in the Coastal Bend Region, due to the remote nature of the business, they work with clients across the country. The office of Barron Custom Design shares space with Dwell Lab Design Studio. The focus of the design studio is to provide a place to network and have suppliers bring new products to share with the local building community. Barron Custom Design’s specialty is taking a vision to reality!

Located a dunes throw from the waves, this house was designed to maximize the views and connection to the surf. The art, the light and the connection between spaces means that this creative and active family has a space that is cozy but offers each person their own haven.

Tarrytown Two! Another beautiful build by David Whitworth Homes and fabulous finishes and staging by the talented

This house is located in a quiet part of Tarrytown just steps from the cool water of Lake Austin. Pocket views of the hilltops around the lake and trees makes this home feel like a tree house. Excited to see this baby come to life! This house sits on a little slice of Old West Austin, just a short stroll down the hill to the lake. Such a fun design with David Whitworth Custom Homes! And Courtney Whitworth knocked the selections out of the park- every single thing in this house was carefully curated to tell a story that feels timeless and elegant! Love it when a plan comes together!! This is a special place and won’t last long😎. 📸

Had an opportunity to hang out on the historic with It was a busy few days- the energy of the artists in the workshop was so impactful. The talent was as vast as the ranch itself. Of course, I was fascinated by the architecture- by the hand of God and the hand of man. I let the audio of the live pictures tell the story…stay tuned

Getting some prints ready for the on May 3rd. Back in 2020 when the world was reacting to the pandemic, we picked up and completely changed where we were living and things that we did to stay connected to friends and family gave way to more solitary pursuits. I started sketching and doing watercolor of places from the past…places that held memories. This brought peace and comfort. I have shared my art in various ways in the last six years…gifting, donating, and selling. The selling part really does help me replenish and try different medias. I’m looking forward to a workshop next month out in West Texas… stay tuned!! In the meantime- come see me at the farmers market…or stop by the office❤️😎.
