New 6” slab placed via pump truck by our friends at 2 Brothers Concrete & GLA pumping. The property owners showed up right as things were wrapping up for the day and love how smooth the finish turned out!

We’ll be starting to stand up the 2 story timber frame soon.

When the sawmill is processing town trees from a ghost town, you find all sorts of goodies. These insulators were to hold powerlines and turned these trees into living power poles. That was 140 years ago when St Elmo had a hydro electric damn.

Poured footers for the new 2 story garage workshop. Our first time using the Fast Foot system. A woven fabric that feels like a thick tyvek. We only have to staple it to 2x4 form boards for a sinple install, and adds a dampproofing layer under the foundation.

Plus, so much steel for all these retaining walls.
