August 27 will now be known as KEITH Day across Miami-Dade County.

On Thursday, we welcomed clients, partners and friends to KEITH Talks Miami, an evening dedicated to connection, conversation, and the ideas shaping the future of our communities. There, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis presented third-generation President/CEO, Alex Lazowick, PE, PMP, ENV SP, with a proclamation designating Aug. 27 as in recognition of our 15 years of service, impact, and dedication to the county.

Thank you, Commissioner, for this incredible honor.

And thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a memorable success. Together, we continue to throughout Miami-Dade County, across Florida, and beyond.

On Thursday, the KEITH Miami team hosted a dynamic discussion focused on the future of South Florida and the opportunities that lie ahead. A sincere thank you to our panelists, Alex Lazowick, PE, PMP, ENV SP, President & CEO of KEITH, José C. Romano, President & CEO of Zoo Miami Foundation, and Commissioner Steve Calle, for sharing their expertise and perspectives. This Saturday, the KEITH Miami team joined a street cleanup effort alongside Miami-Dade County Commission Chairman Anthony Rodriguez and State Representative Mike Redondo.

It was great to see residents, community leaders, and volunteers come together to improve the West Kendale Lakes Park community while reinforcing the importance of giving back to the neighborhoods we serve.

The 57th Florida Airports Council Annual Conference & Exposition was an outstanding event, bringing together more than 1,000 aviation professionals from across Florida.

KEITH was proud to serve as a sponsor and to welcome attendees to our exhibit booth, where we had the opportunity to meet and connect with airport leaders, consultants, agency partners, and industry professionals from across the state.

We truly value opportunities like this to educate, collaborate, and strengthen relationships with our partners while exchanging ideas and best practices. Last week, members of the attended FLASCE 2026 in Fort Lauderdale, connecting with professionals from across the state, attending technical presentations, and gaining valuable insights into the latest industry trends, innovations, and best practices.

One of the conference highlights was the Broward YMG Sunset Cruise aboard the Water Taxi, organized by KEITH's Conner Delanoy. The networking event brought together approximately 80 attendees for an evening of food, drinks, and scenic views of Fort Lauderdale while fostering meaningful connections within the engineering community.

We're grateful for the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and strengthen relationships within the community.

Giving back is always better together.

On Saturday, the KEITH Team spent the morning volunteering with Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control. After a tour of the shelter and an overview of their programs, we helped prepare enrichment treats by filling lick mats and treat molds, bringing a little extra comfort and joy to shelter pets as they wait for their forever homes.🐾
