WHERE IT ALL BEGAN… ❤️

Throwback to November 2015, when Specialty Flooring Inc. was still just an installation company with big dreams, long nights, and a team willing to do whatever it took to get the job done.

In these photos, we were putting the final touches on an engineered hardwood installation upstairs and a set of custom steps. If you look closely, you’ll see Heydie staining and touching up the stairs, Julio and Chino working upstairs, and Angel “Melliso” getting ready to cover and protect what had already been completed.

And yes… look at the window. This job was finished late at night. 😅

Back then, especially during 4th Quarter in new construction, double shifts were part of the journey. We would finish one house, jump to another, and do everything we could to meet deadlines and keep our word.

These are the memories that shaped us. The late nights, the pressure, the teamwork, the learning, the sacrifices, and the people who stood beside us through it all.

And one thing is for sure… don’t mess with Mrs. Benito! 👑

❤️🩸 Throwback to a Special Day at Specialty Flooring Inc. 🩸❤️

On October 27, 2018, Specialty Flooring Inc. had the honor of hosting a successful OneBlood Drive, and it is still a memory we are proud of today.

A large majority of our team showed up, rolled up their sleeves, and donated blood to support a cause that truly makes a difference. In these photos, you’ll see some familiar faces from our SFI family, including Julio, Marcos, Winston, Richard, Mikey, Schavy, Leysha, Neli, and T**i Lizzy.

For us, being a company has always meant more than flooring. It means being part of a community. It means showing up when there is a need. It means using whatever platform, team, and opportunity we have to give back and help others.

Blood donation is one of those beautiful acts of kindness that can impact people we may never meet, but whose lives may be changed because someone cared enough to donate. That day reminded us that teamwork goes far beyond the job site, the showroom, or the office. Sometimes teamwork looks like coming together for a cause bigger than ourselves.
