We're excited to share that we'll be opening our doors on October 1st for Sustainable Pomona - a celebration of sustainable living. We've partnered with Latino and Latina Roundtable of the San Gabriel and Pomona Valley, Adopt a Charger, American Solar Energy Society - ASES - National Solar Tour, California Clean Air Day, National Drive Electric Week, Southern California Edison (SCE), and the Regen Co-op of Pomona to create an exciting and informative family-friendly event.

Sustainable Pomona will feature solar power, EVs/EV charging, battery storage, low water gardening, and other sustainable features in the greater Pomona area. Sustainable Electric Solutions will act as a hub for visitors, sharing information about rebates, resources and education on sustainability, with local homes offering tours of their systems while sharing their sustainable stories. We’ll have test rides with various EVs, and EV owners answering questions about their experiences shifting to electric transportation.

We’ll have a sustainability scavenger hunt, and a recycled craft project for families. You won’t want to miss our solar-powered snow cones and Lisa’s been brewing a special batch of kombucha to share.
In keeping with this being a sustainable event, please bring your own water bottle or cup.

Happy Earth Day, everyone!

We love being part of your sustainable shifts, and are proud to share a few that we've made for ourselves over the years. What sustainable shift have you made that you are most pleased with?

Here's what we do at our HQ in Pomona:

So far, in 2022 we have produced 5,971kWh of solar energy with our 72 panel/15kW PV system.

Our 4 EV chargers have shared 2792kWh of charging this year - nearly 930 hours of charging!

Our edible garden with 6 fruit trees has fed our community and offered homes to insects and animals. Please stop by in fig season - we seriously can't keep up with this prolific tree!

Our solar tubes and skylights have brought sunshine into our office.

Our 4 heat pumps have brought zoned climate control to our space.

We recycle or repurpose and compost as well.

It's a great day to work in the sustainable sector! We're hiring a lead solar installer and an assistant installer to work in the greater / area, and a part-time bookkeeper for our Pomona office.

Happy Monday! Starting our week off featuring a WILD project we completed a few years back 🦁🐯🐻

We worked with our friends Adopt a Charger, who partnered with Los Angeles Department of Water & Power for this cornerstone EV project for the LA area. To stay within budget, we worked closely with LADWP to coordinate the site prep and installation work, eliminating redundant tasks and allowing each party to take on the tasks they were uniquely prepared to complete. This site is one of the most heavily used in LA, allowing thousands of Angelenos to move freely about the city in their EVs without having to return home to charge, or pay exorbitant rates to a charging network operator.

We used ClipperCreek, a Division of Enphase Energy for the chargers, for their robustness, low entry cost, and $0 recurring costs.

When the Woolsey Fire struck in 2018, Kathy and Ron’s home was protected by their solar battery backup and a sprinkler system. It was specially designed to stave off wildfires until help could arrive - whether the morning coastal fog or firefighters in a county fire truck. When the fire finally slunk away from their community, their home was one of the few undamaged, save for a few singed strawberries. Their panels unfortunately melted, and were replaced by insurance.

New Year, new website!

We're excited to launch our new website, with a new web address. We're pleased to launch a website that showcases the work we've done, and where we see ourselves focusing in the future.

We don't have a sales or marketing team - just wonderful customers who recommend us to others. If you have referred us, thanks!
