Facia board replacement 28ft up.
Rather simple, just be sure you fold the metal flashing over top of the new board as shown here so ensure water runs over and not behind the facia.
You can also see to the left the board does not fit perfectly tight. This was done to ensure any runoff could escape. The previous board had rot entirely on the left as pooling water would sit trapped an extremely long time.
Things like gapping when necessary are what separate a good install from a great install!

Concrete walkway patch I did last year on base. It has rebar tied inside in addition to a metal mesh grid played on the rebar for added strength and to help keep it from sinking and sagging. The lines in the walkway are control joints/expansion joints which help relieve pressure differences caused by heat and cold and the regular seismic activity of the earth. It keeps concrete from cracking and fissuring over time.

An example of a French drain I built. French drains are used to keep water from pooling and eroding the concrete foundations of structures. It doesn’t look like much to the eye, but the gravel is four feet deep and eight feet where the water from the HVAC system drains in. This is several dump trucks of rock, installation of 4x4 dimensional lumber as a border to keep the rock contained. Shoveling and raking rock to match the land grade surrounding. The entire drain is much larger but due to it being on base, I can’t show the surrounding structures publicly.

In a residential setting it helps the longevity of a foundation tremendously!

Custom stairs rebuilt in Richlands.

Customer wanted bottom stair even with concrete and wanted a different size than precut stairs so I cut 2x12 lumber for stringers. Shoring pounded under the bottom stringer step with a 2x6, ensuring a firm base. Steel hangers hold the top against the bandboard. Treads and risers take wood glue and screws to prevent lifting and bowing as it dries. Added the little rocks at the bottom step to match the surrounding gardens. Excited for drying this summer so it can be painted!
