This rooftop unit at a restaurant in Manasquan had dirty coils that were making the system work harder than it needed to. After a thorough cleaning, airflow and heat transfer are back where they should be.

Bubbles Mean Trouble

During a service call in Brielle, NJ, our technician applied leak-detection solution to the HVAC system’s filter-drier. The bubbling shown in this video confirmed a refrigerant leak at the component.

The filter-drier helps protect the system by capturing moisture and contaminants in the refrigerant circuit. When it develops a leak, refrigerant can escape, efficiency can decline, and the compressor may face added stress.

Sound on!

One of our techs found another tiny pinhole leak in Point Pleasant. It was tough to find and was dead silent until he put his finger right on it. The sound really gave this one away. Listen as the hiss turns into a squeal!
