Summer is in full swing and lawns are responding nicely to the cooler temperatures. With the 4th of July coming we are planning on mowing all our accounts a day early. For example our Mondays will get cut on Sunday, Tuesdays on Monday, etc. we are doing this so we can try to take a 4 day weekend for the 4th of July. If this causes any conflict please reach out to me this week. Have a great week.

Spring has arrived with some up and down weather. We will start getting ready for spring cleanups this week and hope to start getting equipment back on properties next week. If we get very lucky weather wise it’s possible we could get started this coming weekend but we will have to wait and see how the weather shakes out for us.

BLIZZARD UPDATE….
Snow accumulation has pretty much stopped. Wind is still a factor with drifting . Roads are still mostly a mess. It’s still pretty slow going but we are working our way around to everyone as quickly as possible.

BLIZZARD WARNING update!!!!!
We are out doing a first round of open ups on commercial accounts then we will start on residential in a little bit. Roads are not plowed so it’s pretty slow go with 1-2 inches per hour per hour snowfall rates. Wind is also a hazard with poor visibility. Stay home if you can. Only go out for emergency and be safe!!

MAJOR WINTER storm is on the way Saturday night and most of Sunday. Please take caution and change plans if needed. With snowfall rates of 2-3 inches per hour and possible blizzard warnings expected to be in effect with wet heavy snow. It will be very hard on equipment and we will not be able to get through everything as fast as normal. Please be patient as we will be getting everyone cleaned up as quickly as we can. We will most likely need to come open everything up halfway through and then come back through again once snow is done. Stay off the roads whenever possible to help give us room to clean up. Be SAFE!

With accumulation all over the place within our service area, we will come check out all driveways. Champlin and Brooklyn park were under 2 inches. The rest of our southern service area is closer to 2-4 inches . Roads are slick be safe if you have to go out. If you can stay in it is very helpful for us to get through everyone faster if we don’t have to compete with traffic.

We ended up with just under 2 inches in most areas. Some areas closer to an inch. We will just come and get everyone cleaned up tonight. It’s close enough. Hopefully any city plows that are going to come out have been by. We will be getting started soon.

We got about an inch of snow so far. We will see how much more we get with these flurries this afternoon.

We got another little nuisance snow today. Just about an inch of snow. We will come cleanup our 1 inch triggers only!! The bigger headlines will be the bitter cold and extreme wind chill starting tomorrow night into Saturday with wind chills headed towards -40 below zero. Be very careful out there.
